Complete migration of Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2003,
including migration from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 and migration from NT
domains to Active Directory. Project required no downtime as the Customer
runs a 24x7x365 Internet based Financial Clearinghouse.
Used knowledge of Firewalls, DNS, routing, Server
Operating Systems, SMTP, and Exchange E-mail Systems to complete the project
in a timely and effective manner. |

Network security assessment and corrective action
implementation based on a suspected security breach. Analyzed Internet
connectivity, in-house security options, and overall security policy. Was
able to locate security flaws, determine most likely method of security
breach and make corrective actions. Implemented new monitoring and auditing
tools to help track network and security activity.

Customer was also concerned about Internet security. Able to locate and
control rampant virus activity, fix numerous multi-domain Active Directory
interaction problems, fix numerous desktop policy and domain trust issues,
restore operation of Exchange 2000 server environment.
Used knowledge of Firewalls (Cisco), Switching (Cisco),
routers (Cisco), Internet IP addressing, SMTP, DNS, Active Directory
(including roles and multi-domain), Exchange 2000 server, Server Scripting
(Perl), Antivirus systems (Trend Micro, Symantec, McAfee), automated
Antivirus distribution (Trend Micro), Desktop connectivity, Roaming
Profiles, and Desktop Operating Systems. |

Physicians Office |
Upgraded and relocated a physician’s office network and
telephone systems. Upgrades performed to firewall, network switch, servers,
desktops, scanning environment and wireless access. The office was
relocated over a weekend with zero interruption to key office systems and
with no pre or post relocation system outages.
Used knowledge of Telephone Providers, T1 circuits,
Internet connectivity, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Wireless Access (802.11b),
Phone Switches, Voice over IP (VOIP), Desktop imaging, cut-over
coordination, and network cabling (Cat-5e). |

Provided on-site support for the customers of the
customer. Performed software problem analysis, network access performance
benchmarking, network performance testing, network performance testing, VPN
connection establishment, systems monitoring and tending, and provided
onsite customer relationship management. Visited all of the high volume
customers and performed remote support for many of the smaller customers.

Performed numerous system installation as either new or
replacement of older network systems. Upgrades were from Novell Netware,
Windows NT, and Windows peer-to-peer networks. Upgrades were mainly to
Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 networks. Most upgrades included
implementation of new e-mail services through Exchange 2000/2003, and
migration and upgrades of customer web sites to internal hosting. All
installations, upgrades and migrations are support on-gouging through remote
support, real-time monitoring, and trend analysis. |
